Noble Audio FoKus Artemis: A Three-Driver Hybrid Wireless Flagship Worth Watching
Noble Audio just announced its most ambitious wireless headphone yet with Noble Audio FoKus Artemis name, and the spec sheet alone is enough to make you stop scrolling. Three driver types, one cup. Here’s what’s actually going on under the hood.
Noble Audio has announced the FoKus Artemis, and if you’ve been following the brand’s wireless lineup, this one’s a big jump from where they started. It’s their new flagship hybrid wireless over-ear, and it builds directly on the FoKus Apollo, which was already notable for being the first wireless headphone to combine dynamic and planar magnetic drivers in one shell. Artemis takes that idea and adds a third driver type into the mix: a balanced armature.

So now you’ve got dynamic, balanced armature, and planar all working together in a single wireless headphone. That’s not something we see often, even in the wired world, and it’s rare territory for Bluetooth headphones specifically.
Three Drivers, Three Jobs
The way Noble describes it, each driver has a specific role rather than just being thrown in for the spec sheet. The dynamic driver handles body, weight, and bass presence, the kind of foundation you’d expect from a full-size dynamic unit. The balanced armature is there for clarity, focus, and articulation, areas where dynamic drivers alone sometimes struggle to keep things tight. And the planar driver is responsible for speed, openness, and extended detail retrieval, which tends to be where planar technology shines compared to traditional dynamic setups.
On paper, this is an attempt to get the strengths of three different driver philosophies without the usual tradeoffs that come from picking just one. Whether that translates into a cohesive sound or just a busy one is something we’ll only know once units are actually out for review, but the engineering intent is clear: power, precision, and speed in one package.
Audiodo Personal Sound: Tuning to Your Ears

One of the more interesting additions here is Audiodo Personal Sound and Audiosphere integration. Instead of relying on generic EQ presets, Artemis can run a guided hearing assessment and build a personal sound profile based on how you actually hear. The idea is that two people listening to the same track on the same headphone might need slightly different tunings to get the most detail and balance, and Audiodo is meant to bridge that gap.
This kind of personalization has been showing up more in the wireless space generally, but pairing it with a three-driver hybrid system is a fairly bold combination. If it works as intended, it could mean Artemis adapts not just to your music but to your hearing profile specifically.
Wireless Performance and Everyday Features
Under the hood, Artemis runs on Qualcomm’s QCC3095 platform with Bluetooth 5.4. That gives it multipoint connectivity, so you can stay connected to two devices at once, plus USB audio support for higher quality playback when wired digitally. For people who still want a traditional wired connection, there’s a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter cable included in the box.
On the noise control side, you’re getting Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode, backed by a six-microphone array for calls and ANC processing. There’s also voice assistant support and a proximity sensor, plus control through the Noble FoKus app, which is being refreshed alongside this launch to support the full Artemis feature set.
Battery Life and Build
Battery life is rated at 50+ hours normal playback, dropping to 35+ hours with ANC enabled. That’s a solid number for a flagship wireless headphone with this many active features running. The 600mAh battery supports fast charging, getting you to full in under 1.5 hours via USB-C.
What stands out more, though, is that the battery is fully self-replaceable. That’s a feature you don’t see often at the flagship level, where batteries are usually sealed in and degrade as a fixed cost of ownership. Noble building this in suggests they’re thinking about Artemis as a long-term product rather than something meant to be replaced every couple of years.


On the physical side, Artemis weighs under 350g, has a rotating hinge design, replaceable ear cushions, magnetic detachable ear pads, and IP52 water resistance. That combination points toward a headphone meant to handle daily use, travel, and office settings, not just dedicated listening sessions at a desk.
Pricing and Availability
The FoKus Artemis is priced at $899 / ÂŁ799 / €949. Pre-orders opened on June 4, 2026, alongside the headphone’s first public showing at HIGH END Vienna 2026, with shipping expected to begin in July 2026. Noble notes that the unit shown at the show is a near-final preview, with final tuning, app integration, and feature implementation still being completed before units start shipping.
What This Means for the Wireless Headphone Space
Apollo already pushed boundaries by mixing dynamic and planar drivers in a wireless headphone, something that was effectively a first for the category. Artemis adding a balanced armature on top of that isn’t just a spec bump, it’s Noble doubling down on the idea that wireless headphones don’t have to compromise on driver complexity the way they traditionally have.
Whether the three-driver approach results in a genuinely more refined sound or just adds complexity without proportional benefit is the question that matters most here, and it’s one that can only be answered through actual listening. But as an announcement, Noble Audio FoKus Artemis signals that Noble sees wireless as a space worth bringing their full driver expertise into, not just a stripped-down version of their IEM lineup.
