Audio DEALS
Best Audio Deals: IEMs, Headphones & DACs
Every major sale event, ranked and explained. Updated regularly.
If you’ve ever bought an IEM two weeks before Black Friday at full price and then watched the same thing drop 30%, this page is for you. We track every sale window that actually matters for portable audio, not just the obvious ones.
This is the hub. As each event gets close, we publish a dedicated page with verified deals, brand-by-brand breakdowns, and buying recommendations. Those pages link back here.
Why Sale Timing Matters for This Hobby
Most consumer electronics follow a predictable discount rhythm. Audio gear does too, but with a twist: the ChiFi ecosystem, the Juzear, AFUL, Kefine, DUNU, Moondrop corner of the market, runs on Chinese retail calendars. So while your standard shopping guide tells you to wait for Black Friday, that advice misses roughly half of where the good deals actually happen.
The brands we cover hold their deepest cuts twice a year, reliably. Once around November 11 (Double 11 / Singles Day), once during Amazon Prime Day. Black Friday comes third. Everything else fills in around those three.
Know those dates. The rest is secondary.
The Sale Calendar: Every Event That Matters
Amazon Prime Day
When: Mid-to-late June or early-to-mid July (2026 ran June 23–26) Depth: Deep, often 20–35% off; some brands hit 40–50% Who discounts: HiFiGo, Shokz, WiiM, Soundcore, DUNU, Kefine, Juzear, AFUL, Celest, plus mainstream names like Sony, Sennheiser, Bose Platform: Amazon primarily; Best Buy, Target, Walmart run competing sales at the same time Our coverage: Prime Day Audio Deals 2026

Prime Day has grown from a 24-hour Amazon promotional blitz into a multi-day event that now anchors the first real deal window of the summer. For the ChiFi crowd, this is the most consistent sale on Amazon. HiFiGo runs a dedicated storefront event, and brands like Juzear almost never go on sale outside of this and Double 11. If you’ve been sitting on something in that $50–$200 range and it shows up on the deal sheet, don’t assume there’s another window before December.
One thing worth knowing: the deals you see on the front page of Amazon during Prime Day are mostly mainstream products and Amazon-branded devices. The good stuff, DUNU, AFUL, Kefine, takes a bit more digging. That’s what our coverage page is for.
Double 11 / Singles Day (11.11)
When: November 11, with sales often extending 48–72 hours (Nov 11–13) Depth: The deepest of the year for ChiFi specifically; 15–40% off, occasionally more Who discounts: Every major Chinese audio brand, HiFiGo, Linsoul, ShenzenAudio, NiceHCK, Moondrop, LETSHUOER, Truthear, HiBy, Tanchjim, FiiO, and many more Platform: Brand stores (hifigo.com, linsoul.com, etc.), AliExpress, and increasingly Amazon Our coverage: Coming November 2026
This is the one. Started in China in the early 2000s as an unofficial bachelor’s holiday, Singles Day has become the largest shopping event globally by transaction volume. For portable audio specifically, no other sale comes close in depth or breadth. Brands that rarely discount, including some upper-mid-fi and even entry-level high-end IEMs, will cut prices on this date that you simply won’t see again until the following year’s 11.11.

The key difference from Prime Day is where you actually shop. You go directly to the brand stores and ChiFi-specialized retailers rather than through Amazon. Linsoul, ShenzenAudio, HiFiGo, and NiceHCK all run dedicated 11.11 events with their own deal sheets. Apos Audio (US/Canada only) typically runs a price-match guarantee alongside this window, which is worth knowing if you prefer buying with warranty and return protection.
If you have anything in your cart over $100 from a Chinese brand, hold it for November 11.
Black Friday / Cyber Monday
When: Black Friday falls the day after US Thanksgiving (Nov 27 in 2026); Cyber Monday follows on Nov 30 Depth: Good for mainstream brands; moderate for ChiFi since many brands have already discounted for 11.11 Who discounts: Sony, Sennheiser, Bose, Beyerdynamic, Apple AirPods, Shokz, plus Western-market audio retailers Platform: Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, Adorama, Sweetwater, and brand direct Our coverage: Coming November 2026
Black Friday is where mainstream audio deals live. Sony WH-1000XM-series, Sennheiser Momentum, Bose QuietComfort, Beyerdynamic DT series, these hit their best annual prices here. If you’re shopping for someone who isn’t deep in the hobby, this is the right window.

For the IEM-focused crowd it’s a bit more complicated. Some ChiFi brands do participate in Black Friday, but 11.11 happens two weeks before and takes the biggest cuts. What’s left for Black Friday is usually a continuation at slightly lower discount depth, or brands that skipped 11.11 entirely. Still worth watching, but don’t count on it if you already missed Double 11.
Cyber Monday has basically merged with Black Friday at this point. Same products, same prices, shifted slightly toward online-only bundles. Audio-wise there’s no meaningful reason to treat it as a separate event.
Amazon Prime Big Deal Days (October)
When: Mid-October (Amazon has run this since 2023; exact 2026 dates TBD) Depth: Lighter than July Prime Day, typically 15–25% Who discounts: Mostly Amazon-ecosystem brands and mainstream audio; ChiFi participation is inconsistent Platform: Amazon only (Prime membership required) Our coverage: Coming October 2026

Amazon’s second Prime event of the year. It sits between back-to-school spending and Black Friday, targeting early holiday shoppers. For portable audio, the discounts tend to be more modest than July Prime Day and ChiFi brand participation is hit or miss. Worth checking, but not worth holding a major purchase for.
Back-to-School Sales
When: Late July through mid-September Depth: Mild, 10–20% on select products Who discounts: Mainstream consumer brands; some IEM brands targeting students Platform: Amazon, Best Buy, campus tech stores Our coverage: Integrated into ongoing deals posts

Not a traditional audio deal window, but a few entry-level IEM brands and wireless earbuds see discounts here targeting the student buyer. If you’re looking at something in the $30–$80 range as a first step into the hobby, this window sometimes surfaces deals the rest of the year doesn’t.
Presidents Day (US)
When: Third Monday of February (Feb 16, 2026) Depth: Light, 10–15% on consumer electronics Who discounts: Mainstream US retailers; not relevant for ChiFi Platform: Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart Our coverage: Not tracked separately

Mostly a furniture and appliance sale. Electronics deals exist but are rarely significant for audio. Only worth attention if you’re shopping for a desktop DAC/amp from a mainstream brand like Schiit or FiiO’s Amazon storefront.
Father’s Day
When: Third Sunday of June (June 21, 2026) Depth: Light, mostly a marketing peg for mainstream brands Who discounts: Sony, Bose, mainstream Bluetooth headphone brands Platform: Amazon, Best Buy Our coverage: Not tracked separately

Light deals on noise-cancelling headphones and Bluetooth speakers with a “gift for dad” angle. Real discounts are rare here. Convenient timing if someone needs a gift and Prime Day hasn’t started yet.
New Year’s Clearance (January)
When: First 2–3 weeks of January Depth: Variable, some excellent clearance on older-model products Who discounts: Audio retailers clearing end-of-year stock; occasional brand-direct Platform: B&H, Adorama, Amazon, and some ChiFi stores Our coverage: Opportunistic, we post when something notable appears

January clearance is underrated. Retailers coming off the holiday season push older stock at genuine clearance pricing. If the IEM or DAC you wanted didn’t go on sale in November or December, check again in January. Not a guaranteed window but worth a look.
Chinese New Year
When: Varies, mid-January to mid-February range Depth: Light on discounts; more relevant for delays and availability Who discounts: Some brands run pre-CNY promotions; most just pause shipments Platform: AliExpress, brand direct, HiFiGo Our coverage: Noted in shipping advisories when relevant

Less a deal window, more a logistics event. Chinese New Year typically means Chinese brands pause or significantly slow shipping for 2–3 weeks. If you’re ordering from AliExpress or brand-direct in late January or February, factor this in. Some brands run small pre-CNY discount events to clear pre-holiday inventory, opportunistic rather than reliable.
AudioFest / CanJam Adjacent Sales
When: Various; CanJam events run in NYC (January), Singapore (March), SoCal (March), London (July), Chicago (August) Depth: Variable; some brands offer show-exclusive pricing Who discounts: Premium and niche brands, Campfire, Empire Ears, 64 Audio, Noble Audio at the high end; some ChiFi brands at international shows Platform: On-site at shows; occasionally reflected in online store discounts around the same period Our coverage: Referenced when relevant to our price tier

Not a mass-market deal event, but relevant if you’re shopping above $300. Brands occasionally mirror show pricing online, and retailers sometimes run promos to coincide with buzz from a show. More useful for discovery than for pricing. You get hands-on time with gear before committing.
How to Actually Use This Page
Short version: bookmark November 11 and Amazon Prime Day. Everything else is secondary.
The ChiFi market moves faster than traditional electronics retail. A product released in March can be at its lowest-ever price by November. A deal you see in July might not come back until the following year. The brands we cover, Juzear, DUNU, AFUL, Kefine, Kiwi Ears, Tanchjim, Moondrop, are active participants in the Double 11 and Prime Day cycles. If something from one of these brands is in your wishlist, those two windows are where you shop.
For mainstream brands like Sony, Sennheiser, Shokz, and Bose, Black Friday and Prime Day are both strong. The depth difference between them isn’t big enough to obsess over.
One thing worth saying plainly: a “deal” is only a deal if the product is actually good. A 40% discount on something we wouldn’t recommend at full price is just a cheaper mistake. Our dedicated event pages only list products we’ve reviewed, heard, or can vouch for from community feedback. The MBA forum, Head-Fi, and HiFiGuides discussions inform which deals are worth surfacing.

What We Cover
Our deal tracking focuses on best audio deals: IEMs headphones and categories we actually review:
IEMs. The core. Budget ChiFi, mid-fi, and upper-mid-fi from brands like DUNU, Juzear, AFUL, Kefine, Kiwi Ears, Celest, Tanchjim, Moondrop, FiiO, and more.
Portable DACs and DAC/Amps. Dongles, desktop units, portable stacks. Hidizs, FiiO, Qudelix, iBasso, Topping, SMSL.
DAPs. Digital audio players. HiBy, FiiO, Shanling, iBasso, Cayin.
Cables. Upgrade cables from Effect Audio, NiceHCK, and similar. Discounts here tend to be opportunistic rather than tied to a sale window.
Over-ear headphones. Selectively covered. We don’t track mainstream Bluetooth cans the same way we track IEMs, but notable deals on planars, open-backs, and reference-grade cans get called out.
