Topic starter

This section is dedicated to True Wireless earbuds (TWS) and how they perform in real daily use.

Not just codec charts.

Not just ANC numbers.

Actual listening, real environments.

What We Discuss Here

Topics in this category include:

  • True Wireless earbuds reviews
  • Sound quality vs convenience trade-offs
  • ANC & transparency mode performance
  • Call quality and microphone behavior
  • Codec behavior (SBC, AAC, aptX, LDAC, LC3)
  • App tuning, EQ effectiveness, firmware updates
  • Battery life in real use, not brochure hours
  • Comfort, fit, and long-term wear fatigue

If it only sounds good for 10 minutes, it doesn’t pass.

How We Evaluate TWS

TWS devices are judged differently than wired IEMs.

We focus on:

  • Tonal balance at normal listening volumes
  • Bass control under ANC on/off
  • Stage, separation, and vocal clarity
  • Stability in crowded wireless environments
  • Consistency across firmware versions

Convenience matters — but sound still comes first.

Posting Guidelines

When opening a new topic, please include when possible:

  • Device model & firmware version
  • Phone or source used
  • Codec in use
  • ANC / Transparency state
  • Fit tips or ear size notes
  • Listening impressions over time

If you received the unit for review, state it clearly.

Why This Section Exists

TWS is often treated as disposable tech.

It shouldn’t be.

Some models get surprisingly close to wired sound — others don’t.

This category exists to separate usable reality from marketing noise.

Start Here

  • Share your daily TWS
  • Compare two models you’ve lived with
  • Ask about fit or call quality
  • Document a firmware change impact

Casual users welcome.

Hidden promotion is not.
