This Kz Zsn is a recent model of the KZ brand, which swept the entire budget headphone market prior to the release of the latest KZ ZSX headset. It is a 3D-printed in-ear earphone with an acrylic design and a reinforced fit and durability.

Headset is Kz Zsn, which came out after ZTR. A hybrid earbud with two drivers, armature and dynamic drivers. Kz (Knowledge Zenith) is a headphone brand that almost everyone knows. A brand that represents the rise of quality in Chinese products, which used to be called bad. That’s fine, but it’s an exciting brand that releases a new headphone almost every month but the sound type of its products is almost the same! And after the not so original headphones on the market, we can now talk about a concept called “KZ sound” (Kz tuning).

Material structure is strong. Headphones are one piece apart from the cable. I think it’s the cable as well. It’s thickly knit, almost like the Tin Audio t3’s. The box is the usual small white KZ box. It’s working. Inside the box, there are 3 pairs of different types of silicon, cables, and Zsn drivers embedded in the top surface. Insulation is one of the good topics. It both fits perfectly in the pit of your ear (concha) and closes your ear hole by staying close, although not as much as Kz As16. Comfort is also high, as it completely covers the pit, as I mentioned above. However, there is a downside here. If the pit of your ear is not of average volume, it may not fit your ear properly, which can both disturb and cause pain.
Scene, Clarity, Sibilance, Feeding
Warm and, if not very, enjoyable sound. The stage is not very large. And, as I mentioned, it dries up strangely. Something is coming from the bottom right while a metal music drum is hitting from the left and above! … Drum from the top left: are you serious? Don’t try to dive deep. Most of the front rows are easily audible. However, when we consider the warm sound, manageable midrange and treble, and average scene, we can say that the sound performance is not bad. In terms of clarity, unfortunately, it is not very successful in multi-instrumental music. Sibilance does not exist. Nutrition is also okay.
Bass, Mid and Treble Bass are
full extension type and is not very detailed. not even an attack. Rather, in music, when the drum beats, it hits a semi-hard thump. Inaccurate hits. In genres where bass guitar or double bass is essential, such as the blues, these sounds are blurry. It is not possible to hear the drum kit in its entirety. Zsn can’t go that low. It’s as if the drums don’t have a cross in the rock band Imagine Dragons, who came to Istanbul recently:) If it’s in the mids, it makes up for it. That’s what the frequency graph says. It also plays well in the upper mids. The sound can come out clearly in vocally heavy parts. However, the piano, which is prominent in the performances of artists such as Manon Clement, is also ahead in this regard, but how can I say that the bigfoot piano on stage lacks texture? The piano touches have weak resonance and do not spread much in the air. If it is high treble, it can be said that it is successful in high treble. But don’t expect treble detail. However, thankfully, it does not create a bright presentation that bothers your ears at the front. In this respect, if you have low expectations in metal / rock music, it exhibits a sufficient level of treble.
Kz ZSN Review Final Word
Good proof that the Kz brand is now maturing in audio. A headset that can compete with the Kz Zs10 pro and please you. Its current price is around $10, it fits comfortably in the ear and does not fall out, its solid cable can be changed, and it is good for daytime listening such as “listen late,” unless the piece is too mixed in genres such as R&B, Blues, Rock, and Metal. But forget about critical listening with this one. If you listen to a lot of dubstep, trap, drone, etc., forget about it.
