Tin is another company from China and this is Tin Hifi t2 plus review. Tin got our hearts with the t2 model and look, from neutral and serene T2 to forward and roaring yet smooth T2+. We call this as an upgrade!
Box, Tin Hifi t2 Plus, Cable
Box is usual Tin Hifi (tin audio was the original name) box. Rectangular shaped. And first white coat is barren in design. Underneath it the main box sits.
The t2 plus has a solid aliminum body with many air holes. Cable is 4 braided silver plated copper. Not so thin even after Y split. Comfort is perfect as it sits just in your M sized ears concha. Feels like a tailored cloth…Cable is apparently strong. Connectors are MMCX. Tin’s traditional choice. 4 Core and braided. Metal construction all over.

Sound
Warm timbre. Awesome stage, almost °240. Airy. Not a microdetail freak. No noticable hiss. Bodied presentation. Strong and thumpy basses that aren’t approaching the border of boomyness. Basses are not bleeding into anywhere. Retaining control and the main body of music in even fast paced tracks. Sub bass is felt / heard easily. Mids and treble not crushed under. Mids are smooth and pretty satisfactory. Treble is not disturbing or shy. They show up if the music (instruments) requests. Extensions are okay for its price. Layering is a tad better than okay. Clarity is not the strongest point. We’d expect metallic blown instruments to pierce the stage. Or present sharper borders near some tunes. Or see some dynamism. But the soundstage is freakingly wide and deeper than the average iem. For eg. the oriental accorded violin line seems nearly dug behind the front line (as the original placement dictates)
Vocals are forward but not shouty. And not covering the instruments. You’d expect the opposite from this price level. Female vocals tend to be a little clearer than males. Sibilance is not heard. But sometimes gets close to the border of sibilance.
Tin Hifi t2+ Review Conclusion
Not the iem of year. But Tin Hifi t2 plus is stylish estetics and great, almost circular, soundstage makes up for most of its sins. Electronic music is its strongest capability. Overally speaking, a decent iem for many genres of music. The strong cable is a huge plus too.
