Disclaimer:
Hello readers, Today Fiio sent me the Snowsky Anytime, a new headphone from their sub-brand. I would like to point out that I agreed to review them mainly because my partner liked them. In the end, I discovered that despite their appearance, they are really nice and work well. A youthful product, but with very good audio quality at an affordable price.
Tech Specs:
- Bluetooth 5.4
- ANC and gaming modes
- 40 mm high-performance drivers
- 500 mAh battery with 58 hours of battery life
- Ergonomic design for comfortable wear
- Retro style
- Various colours – titanium, black, or pink
Packaging:

The packaging is nice but of a cheap type, but perfectly in line with the price range. We do not find any particular accessories.
Inside we find:
- Type C charging cable
- Manual
- Warranty

Maybe a carrying bag wouldn’t have been bad, but we’ll settle for that.
Design/Build Quality:

The Snowsky Anytime looks very good, despite being a youth product; it has a minimal aesthetic, perhaps even retro. The build quality is light but seems well assembled, and the materials are good (we’ll have to see how long they actually last).
The earcups are made of imitation leather, but they don’t seem to be replaceable. Over time, the imitation leather usually cracks. The headband is light, practically imperceptible, and obviously it has adjustments. On the right earcup, we have some buttons to control on/off, volume, and ANC.
For a product probably oriented towards young people, it is still very well made, and surprisingly, the 40mm drivers and the chosen tuning are pleasant.
Built-in Technology:

The Snowsky Anytime does not hide major technological innovations, the surprising thing after the Bluetooth 5.4 and the presence of the ANC mode. The microphone is of decent quality, and for the product, it is fine. There is no app to manage the headphones, but honestly, it is not strictly necessary, even if the possibility of adjusting the EQ is a nice plus.
On the right pavilion, we find:
- On and off button + BT for pairing + Play / Pause
- Led Status
- Volume up button / if held down – next song
- Volume down button / if held down – previous
- ANC button to switch mode/ Double press for Gaming mode
Equipment used for testing:
Device:
- Poco M4 Pro
- Hotwav Pad 8
Software:
- Amazon Music UHD
Sound impressions:

Surprisingly, they have a nice, rich sound and are almost comparable to over-ear, which is why at first listen I was pleasantly surprised. The 40mm drivers work very well, and above all, the choice of a V-shape tuning, even if not innovative, makes them very pleasant, especially for a young audience. I did not believe that such a product could surprise me in a positive way. Surely my partner will like them mostly for the aesthetics, but I assure you that they are very pleasant to listen to.
The V-shape tuning is not a novelty, but for the type of headphones, obtaining a similar sound is not totally obvious. I would have expected much weaker performances; to be precise, there are superior amplifications that reach higher volumes. But I must admit that the cleanliness of the sound remains very good compared to other competitors that perhaps have higher sound pressures. The bass is very full-bodied for the type and allows you to listen to all EDM and R&B music in a more than excellent mood. The mids are slightly recessed compared to the rest, but are easy to pick up in the mix. The trebles rise quite well and do not limit the brightness and details too much. The presence of air is not excessive, but the final result is still good. If there had been the possibility of choosing the EQ, it would have been perfect.
The type of sound is not very expansive; it is an intimate soundstage with a decent image, as long as the tracks are not too complex.
Conclusion:
The Snowsky Anytime confirms itself as a nice and good-sounding product. Maybe the target for similar headphones is young people, and I think that some units will sell easily. The price could maybe be even slightly lower. Overall, they are very comfortable headphones with an extremely versatile tuning. I struggled to find any real cons of this product because, being something entry-level, it has everything you need.
There are also products like the Roseselsa Distant Mountain, but they already fall into a category more oriented to audio quality than portability and wireless connections. If you are interested, you can check out my review.
