Kinera Bd005 pro is the newest iem of the Chinese company Kinera. They are not a brand new company or amateurish. Improving themselves with every model, this 005 pro is the pinnacle of their progress observable with Seed to this many years later.
Box, Kinera Bd005 pro, Cable
Box is like a jewel case. Plenty of information on the top and the back of the box. And a special thanks to project members is included on the backside of top layer of its box. Color options are displayed on the bottom of back as well as its official FR graph. All are looking jewelery.
Kinera Bd005 pro is a retractable cabled ergonomically shaped 3d printed and golden flaked back plated iem. Venting hole is single but huge (regarding drivers volume). Nozzle is short and lipped. Comes with a filter.
Cable is a machine braided soft and supple cable. And connector is L shaped with strong stress relief. Y split is a black aliminum cylinder with transparent silicone filling. Earguides are made of somewhat long transparent plastic. And finally left and right finishings of the cable are labeled as clear L and R letters. The red and transparent bases tells it also.

Sound
This part is conducted with the stock tips and cable on. Overall laid back and balanced sound with +0.5 on lower frequencies. Timbre is natural. Nothing synthetic. Layering is nice for its price tag. So and better is seperation and stage width. The only minus so far is the height of the stage. Mingus (Charles) tracks are full with instruments that are easy to track seperately. Control is a positive side we have to write down. Still standing in one piece (keeping everything together and not steering into bloaty moments) even at notoriously complex songs like https://tidal.com/track/30209242 or when the troublesome (for eargears) music of Trash Metal: https://tidal.com/track/157045 plays.
Bass not invasive. Only present when the record demands. And gentle. Not disturbing other frequencies.
Mid is truly lovely. Be it instruments or vocals, both are textured with tonal differentiationed you can expect from a 50 bucks iem.
Treble is not ear bleeding even at Blind Guardians early and crude recordings. This is something we must applause because Power Metal is often hard on the ears.
Kinera Bd005 pro Conclusions
Bd005 pro is a from top to bottom well crafted iem supplied by HIFIGo in exchance of our honest opinion. We think every laid back sound lover with budget audio in mind should try this out.
