MOONDROP SPACE TRAVEL INTRODUCTION:
Moondrop, the brand based in China is a very known brand among the audiophiles for their budget to high end IEM’s and headphones. The Moondrop Sparks being one of their successful TWS sounded really great but lacked some practical features like ANC, Poor mic, app support etc. The Moondrop Space Travel being their latest release in this review let’s check how good and its future sustainability in the market.

MOONDROP SPACE TRAVEL SONIC OVERVIEW:
Space Travel adopts a very clean and neutral sound signature that doesn’t rely on any bump over specific frequencies. The tone is kept neutral to deliver the presentation in a way as natural as possible. Technical aspects appear to be moderately good with above average ratings. Let’s dive in detail through the following sections.
Space travel has app support but it’s very bare bone in architecture. The app can be used to configure the controls and change the equalizer namely Reference, Monitor and Bass head. The sound shift appears very minimal between the equalizers making them basically useless.
The whole sound impressions are based on the stock Reference mode.
BASS PROFILE:
- Space travel represents a very cleaner bass response with a slight upper hand towards the sub bass.
- Sub bass has enough reach to provide satisfying rumbles with clear distinction between the mid bass notes.
- The mid-bass appears lighter and faster, representing the separation and clarity effectively.
- The neutral warmth might make the bass heads stay a step away from Space Travel.
MID PROFILE:
- Being a very neutral performer, the mid-section feels lively, spacious with natural tone and timbre response.
- The vocals appropriately place themselves with enough presence in both the male and female notes.
- Lower mid-section has neutral warmth allowing the male vocals to shine without showing the sign of congestion.
- The upper mid-section presents itself neatly with excellent control over the sibilance, thereby representing a lively presentation.
HIGH PROFILE:
- The highs have been tuned well with a nice extension and adequate brightness.
- The accentuation hasn’t disturbed the great separation and cleanliness of space travel.
- Cymbal crashes and the trumpets have the precise attack and decay making them appear realistic and natural.
- Percussion instruments sound vivid enough for a livelier performance without causing any fatigue to the ears by piercing.
TECHNICAL ASPECTS:
TONE AND TIMBRE: They feel as natural as possible for a realistic feel with no sense of metallic taste throughout the presentation.
STAGING: It’s on the adequate side with enough width and height while this is not the biggest in any specific dimensions.
IMAGING AND LAYERING: The nice neutral serene made the imaging and layering to appear stellar in this Space travel. The placement of the notes based on their depths are precisely laid out thus representing an above average technical aspect. Even in the busy tracks, Space travel gets the job done without any hassles.
DETAIL RETRIEVAL: On the above average side with not much negative thoughts over it considering the price they are available. Extract out most of the essential elements and nuances from the presentation.
ANC AND TRANSPARENCY PERFORMANCE:
The ANC performs moderately well in normal surroundings at a single level, but it struggles to completely cancel low frequencies in busier surroundings, and there is no sound shift when configuring the ANC.
The mic effectively picks up a significant number of external sounds in Transparency mode but requires some tweaking to avoid accentuating voices and emphasize only other sounds.
MIC QUALITY:
Pretty average or even poor performance by the Space travel here where it struggles noticeably in the busy environments in picking up the voice of the user. Calls are not the recommended primary use case for this product, but it is suitable for quiet surroundings.
MOONDROP SPACE TRAVEL VERDICT:
Space Travel, the latest TWS offering from the house of Moondrop comes with a cheap price tag yet with an AWESOMENESS filled sound. This encloses a 13mm single dynamic driver with a titanium dome composite diaphragm delivers a pristine sound that makes most of the listeners go jaw dropping!
This does come with ANC and TRANSPARENCY, but the quality is not up to the mark when compared to even its direct competitors. ANC is pretty moderate with average noise isolation where this fails in eliminating the low frequencies completely while the transparency is good but still needs work in recreating that natural sense to the ears.
The sound from Space travel is SUBLIME! The signature leans towards the neutral side with natural tone and timbre response. The sound that has a bit of upper hand for the sub bass with a cleaner midrange and livelier treble is what the Space travel adopts!
The overall presentation appears clean with no clustered notes making them sound more open and vivid. The lack of warmth might make the bass heads stay a step away, but a try would make them indulge with this thing more!
Moondrop Space Travel TWS priced at 25 USD is a disguised cheap looker that’s filled with AWESOMENESS rich sound!

- Neutral and Cleaner Presentation
- Upper hand to Sub bass.
