Unboxing
Box is basic KZ box: White, tiny and basic, even they titled it as a “Pro”. KZ as usual smh… In the box there are ZS10 Pro, an awful cable, 3 size KZ Starline tips and some paperwork. It’s funny that they can put 10 driver in 1.5cm³ but can’t put something interesting in the packaging.
KZ ZS10 Pro: Sound
Soundwise Hybrid crossover is noticable. It also performs really good for its price just like some otherr Chi Fi stuff. It sounds full, forward and fun to listen. Even tho you don’t need an amplification for it. With its wide (still two-dimensional) stage, detailed but not exhausting sound with good layering is really nice on ZS10 Pro.
Bass, Mid, Treble
Let’s start with sub-bass. It’s definetly refined and controlled. Bass quantity is suficient for electronic music, also details don’t get lost in the mudiness. Bass p-unch is prexsent and you can feel it. Furthermore, bass bleed is minimal
Midf frequencies, vocals and most of the instruments are in place, timbre may not be the best but differentiation between drums, bass and vocals are audible.
Treble is bright and hot, It’s mostly sharp and responsive.
KZ ZS10 Pro – Conclusion
There are my notes in critical listening session. It really performs good for its price compared to other headphones in this price range. Sound quality is really good. But let’s not forget this is a consumer grade with industrial look. It doesn’t have naiveness and authenticity in the sound compared to professional iems. Some may claim KZ ZS10 pro as a KZ’s best. One thing is a certain that it’s fun tuned headphone.
