Here are my initial impressions of the Simgot brand’s flagship, the EA2000. It features 1DD and 1PR (6mm passive radiator) and interchangeable audio plugs that function as DSP filters. Based on the previous results EA500 and EM2R, this had to be something magnificent. If not alone, using the basis of the quantum world is very intriguing and daring.

Technicalities are beyond the $300 price tag. Extensions are fast, and 3D imaging is fantastic. The bass isn’t drowning in its essence and creating boomy bass hits. And it can easily and accurately playback the sounds of several guitars and a drum kit at the same time. The timbre is neutral to a quarter of brightness in MBA2022, but neutral to dark depending on the setup as source..The funk music is full of clarity and dynamics. And live recordings have a pitch black background. This is helping to focus on the depth of the stage and layering.
The empty air feeling is truly helpful in Gilmour and his relaxed bluesy rock music. But those controlled basses are capable of bass feedback when the source is allowed. And acting so true to the origin. Using the ipad 10 and the TruthEar Shio dongle gave a boost to its low end. There was a step-back in technicalities. The OG timbre of EA2000 is slightly laid back, but that dongle is shouting as “Come join the mix; don’t be that reluctant!” Despite its playback being forward, I am hearing technicalities that I have never seen in sub $300 category before.
Texturing of violins is one of the greatest merits, along with layering, instrument separation, and being respectful of the record. However, keep in mind that this can be a minus as well because it might turn into a record picker in its review.

The newest iteration of Simgot, Simgot EA2000, is delivering impressive results, but it’s configuration’s limitations are evident. Although I am not receiving multiple-driver output from several crossover outcomes, it performs beyond expectations. Hats off to that!
