Juzear Clear Review – Big Bass, Fun Sound, Budget-Friendly

Juzear Clear Featured

Juzear was an unknown brand to the Western world, but our website took a look at some pieces. After getting Juzear Flare cable, I decided to publish this quick but layered review.

Juzear Clear Sound Technical Details

Honestly, I had no idea what to expect when I first unpacked Juzear Clear. But after just a few hours of listening, one thing was obvious — this is no accident. Someone clearly sat down and carefully tuned this.

Soundstage? Way above average for this price. It doesn’t feel trapped inside your head. Instead, it opens outward — wide and spacious. Instruments are layered properly: drums in the back, vocals slightly forward in the center, guitars neatly spread to the sides. And it’s not just left-right; vertically, everything has its place. Crash and ride cymbals float higher, bass guitar holds the bottom, vocals hit you at eye level.

It handles transients really well. Kicks punch, guitars slam, synths explode — but nothing steps on anything else. It’s clean. Slightly dark in tone but far from dull. It feels intentional, with just enough weight in the low-mids to give body while the treble remains airy and extended.

Best part? Clean playback. No bass bleed, no treble harshness pushing into the mids. You almost never get this kind of discipline at this price point.

Bass

The bass is tight, clean, and well-balanced. No mid-bass bloat, no fake sub-bass rumble. It hits where it should. Listening to “Pay the Man” by The Offspring, the tabla-like percussion, kick, and bass guitar come together in a rhythm that feels grounded but never overpowering.

With the LG V30, bass is warmer, rounder — perfect for rock and indie. It’s punchy but never boomy. Move to the HiBy R4, and the character shifts. Bass becomes tighter, more controlled, with better sub-bass extension. When I swap in the Juzear Flare cable, bass quantity pulls back a little, but the clarity and speed take a clear step forward. Drums hit quicker, decay faster — punch in, punch out.

This is a clear fork in the road. OG cable gives you warmth and fun; Flare gives you precision and control.

Midrange

The heart of this IEM. Vocals are full-bodied, warm, and intimate. Male vocals feel chesty and natural. Listening to The Decemberists, I hear every breath, every vocal crack, like the singer is right in front of me.

Guitar work is crisp. On Metallica’s “Astronomy”, the twin guitars come from left and right cleanly, no smearing. When the full band kicks in, the clarity stays intact.

With R4 + Flare, mids open up even more — airier, more detailed. The subtle reverb tails behind vocals, those quiet background synths, little production tricks — all become easier to pick out. The layering feels intentional and satisfying.

This is where it also reminded me a bit of the Simgot EW200 — but with more body and warmth.

Treble

I’m always cautious about treble. Will it stab me? Will it hiss? Thankfully, no. Treble here is clear, present, and extends beautifully — but without sibilance or fatigue. Ride cymbals shimmer naturally. On “We Can Make the World Stop”, the synth highs are crisp like glass, yet never harsh.

Swap to Flare cable and treble clarity sharpens. Transients are snappier. Snare drums sparkle. Cymbals sustain with a smooth tail. But a heads-up — Flare brightens the sound just a touch. If you’re treble-sensitive, you might prefer the stock cable.

Bottom line? Treble is exactly where it should be — neither forward nor recessed. Just right.

Conclusion of Juzear Clear Review

Juzear Clear came out of nowhere and instantly impressed me. It’s warm, musical, but still technically sharp. Pair it with the Flare cable and it punches way above its price. The stage opens up, details jump out, and it just feels… right.

If you love rock, metal, or electronic music — this is a fantastic choice. Midrange clarity, bass discipline, treble sparkle — all dialed in just right.

Quietly but confidently, Juzear Clear shows it belongs in this game. Worth it? 100% yes — especially with Flare. This is what a hidden gem sounds like.
